Attend the next honey extraction experience

Every time I mention my bee’s people ask me about honey. Some people claim its unethical to extract or steal honey from a bee hive. Bee’s are the only insect that create a surplus of food for storage over time, i.e. honey. I’m taking surplus honey from my hives that the bee’s don’t actually need, so am I really stealing from my bees?
My answer is that I only extract the extra surplus from my hives. My bee’s main purpose is not to produce honey, it is to pollinate plants in my local area, i.e. the 3 mile radius from my apiary. That is why the company is called Ethical Bee Co. I also offer education and taster experiences of what bee keeping is all about. Most people do not know the simple difference between a bumblebee and a honey bee.
This month I extract and spin my honey. You can visit me on only 2 special days in September to experience and undertake this seasonal event first hand ,and taste what pure fresh honey tastes like as opposed to what people think is honey ( what they buy from a supermarket )
Please get in touch if you want to book a place on this four hour honey extraction experience. It’s special and you will learn the basics as well as enjoy tasting pure unprocessed ethical Leicester Honey in my apiary.
Perhaps you might even go away after this and consider becoming a bee keeper. It’s become very fashionable, Ask David Beckham!
