MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

The year has passed without event. Bee's are a necessary insect worldwide, akin to Sharks who actually manage our Oceans being the apex predator. Last month I used all the left over honey from this season to make Mead. I hope to hold onto this Mead until next year. If you have never tried Mead, which hailed from ancient times, usually brewed by Monks, maybe you should try some. Its sweet and delicious, and obviously environmentally balanced, as it has to be made from honey.

My mead is busy fermenting on a warm self. I guess I will have one gallon of it bottled to give away next Christmas to any 'mead lovers out there'

I am still happy to give advice to any struggling beekeepers out there, but I dont necessarily subscribe to the UK's British Bee Keeping Associations directives on bee keeping. A wonderful and necessary organisation, but I believe bee's should be left to do as they please without as little interference from Beekeepers. Get it right and your colonies will thrive, get it wrong and they will perish. Bee's are resilent sentient colonies, incredibly intelligent creatures, who are a necessary part of our Ecosphere that is so quickly descending into technological man made catstrophe due to mankinds demands on the planet, wars, chemical reliance to boost farming yield and general use of neoneuclide pollutants like 'Round up ' which many ordinary folk use as a simple solution to managing weeds. 'Round up' is a terrible chemical that harms bees.

On a lighter note, let me turn my attention to Christmas, which is only around the corner. I hope you elect to buy a living Christmas tree over the plastic variety and enjoy buying and hanging up your wreaths ready for the festive season.

Remember folks, this is the season for giving and spreading joy, not the mass consumerism exercise Christmas appears to have become. Enjoy it with your family, do not stress, and dont leave any shopping until the last minute.

Write that list now, and give something back, no matter how small to your community.

Merry Christmas
